Know More About the Program
Who is able to join?
Anyone! As long as you are able, anyone is welcome to join. You would have to meet the expected fundraising target to proceed on our trips. If you have any medical conditions that you believe are important for us to know, it is important that you communicate them as we want to be able to provide you with the best and safest ways to bring an impact in the world.
What makes me eligible?
To be eligible to join a Discover HCI trip, you must meet the required fundraising target for the trip, be eligible to travel to the destination, have all required travel documents (including a valid passport and any necessary visas), and meet any additional trip-specific requirements shared by the Discover HCI team.
What are the fundraising targets?
Each country has its own fundraising target: Canada — 7K CAD, United States — 5K USD, United Kingdom — 4K GBP, Europe — 5K EURO.
What should I expect?
The team will reach out to you via the information you give in the Sign Up form. You will be asked to fundraise a specific target — upon your success the team will reach out to you for further discussion and next steps on travel.
You will be in main communication with the travel leads, who will assign you to the next trip and group based on everyone's availability. If you cannot make it to one trip, another slot will be available for you. You will be travelling with experts, and your needs are our Amanah — we will take care of everything from start to finish.
